Decluttered Discoveries

they say that at the start of every year, you have to de-clutter. get rid of everything you don't need in your closet and cabinets, throw old papers and folders that you don't need to recycling, and i guess de-cluttering is also includes deleting files from your cellphone that you don't really need.

i'm fond of taking pictures with my cellphone, despite being low resolution, i somehow still like "capturing moments" once in a while. and i discovered its amazing how many moments you do capture in the span of one year.

i would like to share with you a few photos of what i would say are major moments of my 2009  that i captured with my simple phone camera.

September 2009 when manila stopped for Ondoy

i remember the surreal feeling of being stuck on manila for six hours and listening to all the news reports on dzmm. i remember the surreal feeling of watching all the news coverage by the time i got home safe with my boyfriend (Chise Chua). the next few weeks after that were still surreal, but inspiring. everyone was a hero.

decluttering not only feels good, not only makes you feel lighter, but it also sort of takes you back in time and reminds you of things, learnings, and feelings you had through the year. awesome. ;)
